On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 1:23 a.m., the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a party and possible shots fired at 19808 Peter Pan Gulch Road, Anderson. The suspects left the location prior to deputies’ arrival. Upon arrival at the location, deputies found a victim, Dusty Prevette, with injuries to his face and chest.

During the investigation, it was learned there was a social gathering at the location involving alcoholic beverages. During the event, an altercation occurred between Gerrhett Eubanks, 21 years-old, and other subjects at the location. Eubank left the gathering upset, returning moments later with Logan Fouche, 20 years-old. It was reported shots were fired in the air by Eubank while standing in the roadway in front of the residence, but no one was injured.

Dusty Prevette confronted Eubank in the roadway who stuck Prevette in the face with the firearm. Fouche then struck Prevette in the chest, with a baseball bat. Both Eubank and Fouche left the location westbound on Peter Pan Gulch Road.   Prevette was transported to Mercy Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries he received during the incident.

Deputies searched for Eubank and Fouche, but they were not located. A BOLO was issued for the arrest of Eubank for 836/245(a) (2) PC – Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Firearm and Fouche for 836/245(a) (1) PC – Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

On Tuesday, July 11th, 2017, Eubank surrendered at the Shasta County Jail and was booked for 245 (a) (2) PC – Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Firearm, and his outstanding warrants. Eubank is being held on $100,000.00 bail. Logan Fouche is still outstanding.

If anyone has any information concerning the location of Fouche they are urged to contact the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.
