With giving as its guiding principle, I am truly awed by the leadership of these two parents Rick and Kari Cattanach and their son Kyle who have turned such a tragic event and a huge loss of a loved one into a positive and rewarding experience for other individuals who suffer from life-theatening illnesses and are just looking and dreaming of a life experience moment. Given all of the negative news that we are inundated with on a daily basis, it is nice to see a positive approach and I as a runner and consumer hope and pray that all of the communities especially in the northern region of California anxiously support, market, and challenge each other in the spirit of giving to make Shanesway.org the annual event to attend in Northern California.

    Thank you,
    Paul D. Sutters
