Mark your calendars now and save the date.  The Palo Cedro Park’s major fundraiser is just around the corner.  The sixth annual Wine and Dine for the Park dinner/auction will take place on Feb. 27, 2010 at the Bishop Quinn Catholic Center in Palo Cedro, and tickets will be arriving in the mail any day. 

     The theme for the Wine and Dine this year is “Got Water?” and the Board of Directors is hoping to raise enough money to bring water to the park property on Cedro Lane this year. 

     The Wine and Dine dinner will again be catered by Robbie Clearie of the Sausage Factory and seven local wineries will provide libations for the wine tasting.  They include Alger Vineyards and Winery, Alpen Cellars, Burnsini Winery, Intermountain Vineyards and Winery, Lassen Peak Winery, R. Merlo Estate Vineyards, and Shasta View Vineyards.   Musical entertainment will be provided by Al Mires of Music Max in Palo Cedro.  The event will also feature a live and silent auction, and the Board is currently seeking donations for both.  To make a donation, call 547-2727 and leave a message.
